What is ISO 9001?

Come 1994, and the first updated version was released. The new changes included addressing the ever-changing needs of users, as well as the companies and organizations that apply and implement it.

The next update came in the year 2000, then in 2008 – and the latest version was in 2015; now, it’s one, if not the most popular, and the most essential out of the many ISO standards that have been established and published. In addition to that, before the most recent revision, the ISO 9001 standard had three (3) sets, namely: the ISO 9001, ISO 9002, and ISO 9003; all of which point toward particular goals, sets of requirements, and standards.
