What is the AS9102?

AS9102 Evolution

The first FAI publication detailed and standardized the FAI requirements; it also became the common and the shared form of Supplier FAI documentation. In 2004, the document was made and developed to define the perfect time to do an FAI. Improvements and developments in terms of layout and readability were also done.

Lastly, in 2014, the most recent revision of the FAI standard, it was when everything was included. It described and enhanced the scope and the overall purpose of conducting an FAI; it also separated planning activities from the evaluation activity, and it had FAQs to help and clarify the intent of the FAI.
